Every year on April 22^nd, Earth Day is celebrated around the world, to pay tribute to the planet we call home.

On this occasion, some of us took part in a special workshop, with the theme “trees for the Earth”, organised by the permaculture farm of Can Obrador, in Ibiza.

At Numero 74, we are always curious and open to learn more about sustainable living.

We strongly believe that people, plants and animals are all connected, and that there are ways to live in harmony together.

On this beautiful spring afternoon, we arrived at the farm, ready to roll up our sleeves and get down to Earth! 

The day started with a practical workshop on how to take care of the soil by making natural fertilizer.

Then we had the pleasure to plant a tree.

Down on our knees, feeling the earth, and making space for a living plant is such a peaceful experience.

Grownups and children alike were smiling, bonding, and connecting with each other and with nature in such an intuitive way. It was a happy Earth day!

Planting these seeds of knowledge to learn how to take care of Mother Earth and all living creatures, that’s definitely something we believe the world needs.
